The Islamic World
Aiming the exchange of information, ideas, experiences and, above all, helping to understand the issues of the Arab world - covering religion, geopolitics, history and social issues – FAMBRAS created the Islamic World Course - Culture, Society and State, in partnership with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The improvement and updating program is held at Rio Branco Institute in Brasilia and it is intended for foreign diplomats representing the member countries of the South America Summit – Arab States, ASPA, or the Organization of Islamic Cooperation - in addition to officials from other federal public administration bodies and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
With renowned teachers and lecturers, the course lasts one week, divided into modules with an average duration of five hours each, totaling 25 classroom hours. In addition to the support material, participants receive a certificate at the end of the event.
The first edition of the course happened in 2013 and since then achieves great success.
