Iftar (the month of Ramadan fast break) is a time of unity among Muslims. FAMBRAS decided to make the occasion even more special, breaking their fast with people who often cannot have a decent meal: people living on the streets in São Paulo.
Iftar Solidário is a partnership between the Federation and the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Humanitarian & Charity Foundation, the Embassy and Consulate of the United Arab Emirates and the City of São Paulo. The initiative demonstrates the need for every human being to have social responsibility and exercise their citizenship.
