Since 2011, FAMBRAS has been granting a scholarship program for going to Hajj and Umrah every year, benefiting Muslims from several Latin American countries who cannot afford the trip. In partnership with international Islamic institutions, the Federation also helps with documentation and visas, and monitors the faithful throughout the trip with the Sheikh and his team.

During the month of Ramadan, the Islamic community gathers for Iftar (breaking the fast) and the welcome extends to needy communities that need basic food resources. Thousands of newly arrived refugees in Brazil find in the mosques the support of a home, strengthening their religiosity and congregating in this sacred period.

Eid Al-Adha, an Islamic holiday known as the feast of sacrifice, is held on the tenth day of the month of pilgrimage (Hajj). The festival proposes that Muslims make the lawful slaughter of animals so that the meat is shared with families and needy people. It is a true celebration of the human being's extreme capacity for loyalty to his Creator, as it recalls the test to which the Prophet Abraham was subjected by God. International entities finance the lawful slaughter of meat and make donations to several mosques in São Paulo.

The event “Muhammad Ali – History, Faith and Courage” took place in 2016, at the Misericórdia Mosque, in Santo Amaro. On the occasion, the Muhammad Ali Noble Hall was inaugurated, in honor of the Muslim boxer who marked history not only for his performance as an athlete, but for his social actions around the world.
